What drew you to YadaFactor?

I was invited to YFE in the fall of 2023, and I wasn’t quite sure what it was all about. However, it didn’t take long into the class for me to realize this was an answer to prayer. Journaling to Papa and including His Word has been a joy for me since I was a teenager. At our previous church, we had done a table discussion time similar to this, which helped everyone grow in the Lord and in our relationships with one another. It sparked a burning desire in me to share with other ladies the joy of reading Papa’s Word and hearing Him speak to them personally. There is truly nothing more amazing! Upon completing the class, it became clear to me that Papa, through YADA, was gifting me the desire of my heart—to help other ladies learn how to hear Papa’s voice.

What do you like about coaching?

Each time, I am so encouraged as I listen to the ladies share what they hear Papa saying to them and the excitement they feel as they realize how personal our God is. Being new to this, it is also helping me grow in my own walk, teaching me to listen not only through my own reading but also to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and feedback.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Time with my hubby, love on my OH SO grand-babies, watercolor, and reading.

What one word would you use to describe YadaFactor?

Reassuring

Why would you suggest YadaFactor to friends and family?

It takes the Bible from a book of knowledge and information to a Love Letter written for me and to me…Papa sharing himself with me, sharing how much He loves and cares for me, and giving me guidance for each situation I face as I wait for Him to come take me home. It also provides much needed accountability with other believers.

Is there something special you’d like to share with other coaches in the YadaFactor community?

Thank you for doing this! I have had the privilege of having contact with Ann, Julie, Christine, and Yvette in classes and each of you have taught me so much. Learning from each of you is an honor. I look forward to the same opportunity with others in the future.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?

I am married to the man of my dreams, Gary, and we have three boys, three daughters-in-law, and four grand-babies: one girl and three little guys. Life can be bumpy and sometimes downright hard. My Gary and I like to call it “the journey”. One thing we are learning is that, like Jesus, we all learn through the things which we suffer. It gives me such hope knowing that all suffering has a divine purpose. My Papa never wastes my pain! I may not see it or feel it at times, but He truly is a good, good Father, and He is working all things together for my good. The peace and joy are indescribable, unexplainable, yet so real! We are so blessed!
